the stillness again
well i've been in bed with flu for a couple of days and enjoying the stillness once again. been working hard day and night on music recently and an all day outing to the rugby season opener at Twickenham fuelled by guinness and bad hot dogs finished me off (in the nicest way possible)...
this time while flat on my back i decided to watch all the films i could... Out Of Africa, The Newton Boys, Gorillas In The Mist, The Battle Of The River Plate, Blue Velvet, Little Fish and... How To Lose a Guy in Ten Days. Out Of Africa was the highlight, that is one deep, moving, beautiful film. I liked all of them and have missed being able to watch films....
over it now so it's back to writing... I need to develop and demo another 8 or so songs, on top of the 7 new ones I've demo'd already, and then I need to figure out the shape of it all and decide how to record and release them. It's good to feel such a strong vein of creativity...
